Cebu Fun

23November - 12:30pm flight to Cebu via Zestair; with hubby, Ate Itess, Gia, Gabby, Tita Miling and Mommy. Original plan is kami lang ni Artie, nainggit ang iba at sumama. Ü Airfare is around p3100 with baggage allowance to and fro. Arrival time 1:30pm.

welcome to CEBU!!!

It was supposedly a surprise visit to Diche and the rest of the bunch. Kaya lang, sa sobrang excitement ng ibang kasama ko, may mga nakapagsqueal na ng details! Ü Ang remaining suprise na lang is...ang alam nila, kaming 2 lang ni Artie ang dadating. Imagine the look on their faces when they saw US arrive. Hehehe.

Day 1 spent having lunch at Diche's house. She prepared hainanese chicken, home-made siomai and beef curry. Super sarap and super busog. They also have durian from Davao. First time for me try it...and hindi kami jive! Ü During night, naggrocery sa Robinson's supermarket to buy some goods to last us for a week. We also booked 2 rooms at Travelbee Pension House. One deluxe (p800 per night) and one family suite (p1500 per night). Not bad! Plakda kami after diner ni Artie sa pagod and antok while the rest were playing Pinoy Henyo at the other room. Hehehe.

24November - morning: hubby and I woke up early to do some walking while looking for a place to have breakfast. Yun nga lang, naligaw and napadpad kami kung saan and ended up eating at Jollibee! Kahit saan okay with me, basta may coffee! Ü After breakfast, going back to the hotel, we passed by Bittersweet Pastry Shop and decided to have dessert!

lunch: back at Diche's house to feast on fried & crispy pork strips, tinola and some chicharon. hindi ko na inisip ang ige-gain ko na pounds! bakit ba, eh sa nakabakasyon ako eh! Ü

after lunch, we were off to visit Cebu Cathedral, Basilica Del Sto.Nino and Magellan's cross. side trip also at Ayala Center.

then dinner at Yayoy's Grill and resto bar. busog ulit. baked scallops, bulalo soup, sizzling bulalo, chicken, veggies, tuna belly, san mig light.

25November - off to Bantayan Island!!!

left the hotel at 5am with hubby, kim, ian and his officemates. we took a quick jeepney ride going to the north terminal. from the terminal, a 2.5-hour bus ride going to Port of Hagnaya. Bus fare is p150 each. upon reaching the port, boat ride naman papuntang Bantayan. 1 hour boat ride at p170 each.

nakarating na kami ng Bantayan around lunch time. i think masmabilis yung travel kung walang mga combo and parada sa highway and kung aalis agad yung mga boat. Ü

what can i say but i immediately fell in love with the beauty and serenity of Bantayan...it's like Boracay less the daming tao, less the restaurant and bar strips.

we checked-in at Yooneek Beach Resort. it's a beachfront resort kaya dito kami nagstay. we only paid p1500 per night, nakapag haggle from p2100. imagine 600 off?
"ate, how much yung room?"
2100 lang po.
"wala na bang ibababa yan?"
o sige po, 1500 na lang.

Aba! eh madali naman palang kausap ang mga taga-Bantayan. hahaha!

Yooneek Beach Resort

we had late lunch, starved super. ordered from the resort sinigang na baboy, chicken and pork adobo and ice cold Coke. after eating, took a nap in our room dahil sa pagod sa byahe. since tulog pa si hubby ng mga 430pm, mag-isa akong nagbeach. i wore my two-piece and i didn't care kung bulgy ang tummy ko. halos foreigners naman yung tao and konti lang sila kaya gutsy ako. hehehe. after magtampisaw, nag-emo sa lounge chair. it was the relaxation i needed!!!

26November - original plan is for us to just stay overnight but since super enjoy kami, we decided to extend for another night. for lunch, namalengke kami ni hubby. naubusan kami ng seafoods sa mini market near the resort kaya nagpunta pa kami sa main market sa may bayan. nagtricycle going there and medyo malayo sya ha.

we bought shrimps, pork liempo, puso (cebu's famous binalot na kanin), chicken itlugan and ripe mangoes. if i remember correctly, less than 500 pesos lang yung lunch namin. pinaluto na lang namin sa resort ala ihaw-ihaw.

B-U-R-P!!!

for the rest of the day, swimming galore lang. nagpa-full body massage din ako sa room while the boys were swimming. hay....ansarap! Ü

27November - goodbye Bantayan, goodbye Cebu! =(

left the resort at 5am to catch the first boat trip back to Cebu city. arrived at the hotel around 10am. nagbaba lang kami ng gamit tapos direcho agad sa Tabo-an market to buy pasalubong na danggit and pusit. we were warned by Diche na super amoy tuyo dun. tipong kakapit sa damit mo yung amoy...and she was right. ang bahu nga...! binilisan na lang namin yung pamimili para makaalis na. i bought danggit, dried pusit, isdang lapad, dried mangoes, some biscuits, chicharon and otap. it just cost me around 1500 pesos for the pasalubong and madami na yung binili ko! Ü

Tabo-an Market

since 6:10pm pa flight namin back to Manila, naglunch muna kami ng mga pamangkins sa Jollibee (since this is the nearest from the hotel). bonding and kulitan. Ü

can't wait to go back. bitin yung 5 days to explore Cebu!

at babalikan ko pa ang Crown Regency Hotel for their famous Skywalk and Edge Coaster!!! See you again next summer! Wohoooh!!! Ü

When I visited my OB on 21August, I found out that my current weight is 125 lbs. Shoot!!! It's my heaviest ever! I'm usually at 105-110 lbs lang eh. And it usually shows when my tummy's getting bigger and bigger. Thinking about it, that I am considered overweight for my height, medyo alarming noh? To think na hindi pa ko pregnant! So back to diet mode na ko. Healthy Diet. Less rice during dinner, kung kayang magcrackers, crackers na lang! Some exercise also. Hmmmm...Walking walking? Takbo takbo? Saan?

I also plan to buy this Red Juice I see in advertisements. I am enticed to buy! It's "a blend of fruit juices and herbal extracts designed to help balance and harmonize the body..." Amen to that. Kahit hindi ako religiously kumakain ng fruits and veggies, okay na basta may Red Juice! Yun lang, it's quite pricey. It's P1800 per 2L bottle and should be taken for 7 days lang. I guess I have to include it in my budget na! Even if it's pricey, if I will get the healthy benefits naman, hu-why not??? Go, go, go!!!!

31st Birthday!

I celebrated my 31st birthday last February 25 and I sure had a blast! I think this is the best ever!! Yet. Ü Kahit hindi dineclare ni Noynoy na holiday ang birthday ko, kung kailan pa 25th anniversary ng EDSA(!!?), super happy ko pa din!

What made this special day extra special:

1st - My SEQ colleagues surprised me with a super colorful birthday banner na hindi ko maisisikretong birthday ko ng araw na yun! Kitang kita sa buong 9F na parang may fiesta or pahiyas or whatever. Funny din kasi pati mga runners and messengers ginreet tuloy ako! Ü

2nd - Krispy Kreme Donuts as my birthday cake plus brewed coffee! Haaay...happiness talaga!

3rd - sugar overload! friends gave me mini-cakes of different kinds!

5th - birthday blogs from my dear sister Angel and my one & only love Artie! ♥ feeling ko ang perfect ko eh! Ü

6th - compliments received dahil hindi pa daw ako mukhang 31! wohoooh!

7th - nasa kalendaryo pa ang edad ko. next year temperature reading na daw! Ü

8th - my dear lovey hubby surprised me with a HUGE bouquet of assorted flowers!!! he knows how much i love flowers but i didn't expect that he would give me a bouquet that huge!!! Ü

it's barely a month but i'm loving it! ♥

i look forward to every day spent with my hubby! the everyday dates, kisses, cuddles, hugs, sweet nothings and a whole lot more! ♥

first week after the wedding was still busy. dahil may bago ng occupant ang room ni artie, that was the first on our list!

naglipat ako ng stuff from santarosa to mandaluyong. mostly shoes and office clothes. and even upto now, i'm not done with paghahakot! Ü
hubby and i bought a new queen-sized bed. kahit anung pagsisirko gawin namin, malaki pa ang space! =D
i have a new big pink cabinet. big enough for all my stuff and soon-to-be stuff! i plan to get rid of old clothes and do a shopping spreeeeeeee!!!!

sabay kami going to work and kung masasabayan ko din sya pag-uwi, i wait for him. Ü

sometimes we eat out. or punta muna somewhere before going home.

one thing i've noticed is that kain ako ng kain!

si mommy thelma palagi ako pinagbabaon ng breakfast sa office. kahit na ilang beses kong sabihin na coffee lang talaga ako sa umaga, pinagbabaon pa din ako. hehehe. and this i find so sweet! Ü ang hirap din magcontrol ng cravings! in my new home, when i crave for something...pwede talagang masunud!

artie started with his workout again. i plan to go to the gym din...soon! hehehe.

with all these eating, i need to have some exercise! maybe on my birthday week, start na ko. promise! Ü

we haven't "honeymooned" yet. though everyday is a honeymoon for us! ♥ hehehe.

we have Cebu and SG plans soon. kailangan lang ischedule so there won't be conflict with work.

we're saving up for our own SUV.

our own house NOT in the near future...but a Sta.Rosa property is in the picture na! Wohoooooh!

hubby and i are planning to have our baby by next year pa...but if it is God's will to bless us with one soon, we will be more than willing! lalu na sila mom and dad na gustu na ng apo! hehehe.

this i mentioned during the wedding vow exchange. the domesticated part is still in the works! career ito! Ü

Wedding Bells!

I'm getting married in two days!!! How time flies....I can still remember getting engaged on April 21,2009 only 9 months after Artie and I went steady. Hehehe. Masyado yatang tinamaan sa akin, binakuran na ako at nagsiguro na. ♥ I feel so lucky that someone wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. That someone has accepted the real me. Be it good or bad. And I am lucky and uberly happy that God has answered my prayer in my search for a lifetime partner.

For the past week, friends have asked me kung ano daw ang feeling ng ikakasal. I always say "kinakabahan, excited, stressed...mixed emotions!" And upto now ganun pa din ang nafifeel ko.

Kinakabahan kasi hangga't hindi natatapos ang ceremony and reception, hindi ako mapapakali. Ü Syempre gusto ko maging smooth flowing ang lahat. Or worry freak lang talaga ako?

Excited kasi ang tagal naming hinintay ni Artie 'to. I'm excited to see all our dear friends and relatives on our special day. Excited to hear the orchestra play our songs. Excited to see the flowers! Excited to see Artie in his barong. Excited to spend day 1 as his wife. Excited to be officially a member of the Delos Santos clan. ♥

Stressed. Akala ko makakaligtas ako sa sinasabi nilang nakakastress magplan ng wedding. I never felt stressed until a month before the wedding. Ang mga suppliers nabuhay at nangulit lahat! Ü Buti na lang, lahat sila cooperative and madaling kausap. I just hope tuluy tuloy ang ganitong harmonious relationship nila sa isa't isa hanggang sa matapos ang wedding. Hehehe.

Mixed emotions. Happy that I will be facing a new chapter in my life, as a wife and a future Mom??? In God's time, magkakaroon din kami ng Little Ann and Little Artie. Ü. Sad knowing that I have to leave my family here in Santarosa. Super mamimiss ko si Mom, Dad, bunsoy, Ate and Maxmax.... =( Kailangan ko pa mag-empake ng buong husay!

And I need to get that pampering by tomorrow!

Thanks to sister dear for making this happen. Mahirap akong i-surprise kaya I know that I'll be having a shower on the 8th. But I still was surprised as to the venue and the girlfriends who came! Achie, Avee, Tina, Beegee, Mela, Rozie, Carla and Whella. ♥ Just the thought of them attending the shower means so so much na! I know they are busy too!

While others sang, I had some chitchat with the girls. I miss bonding time with these girls especially my highschool barkada Whella and Carla! I really do hope we can meet up again and just make kwentuhan.

Finally received the Sacrament of Confirmation yesterday at San Miguel Church in Malacanang. Kasama ko si Mom para siya na lang ang witness/ninang ko. Nakakatawa lang yung experience namin ni Inay... Ü

We arrived around 2:10pm kasi medyo nagtanung-tanung pa kami bago natunton yung simbahan. Pagkadating namin dun, sinalubong kami ni manong guard.

guard: Magpapakumpil po ba?

me: Opo, abot pa ho ba ako?

guard: Sige ma'am, pakifill up-an na lang po 'tong form tapos bayad kayo sa cashier.

So proceed ako sa isang table while filling out the form. Name, birth details, pangalan ng ninong/ninang etc. While filling out the form, may naririnig akong nagbabang sa table near the counter. Dineadma ko lang. Eh hindi tumitigil. Yun pala, yung matandang babaeng nasa counter tinatawag ako. Tama bang magbaba-bang sya sa table??? Pwede naman akong tawagin! So lapit ako kay Lola.

lola: Magpapakumpil kaaaaaaa?

me: Opo

lola: Anung oras na? Kanina pa nagsimula ang seminar! Late ka!

(ang lakas ng boses ni lola. automatic nagkatinginan kami ni inay na parang gustong magtaasan ng aming mga kilay. but since nasa simbahan kami at alagad ng simbahan si lola, nagtimpi kami ni inay...)

lola: Eh bilis bilisan mong magsulat! Akin na ang baptismal certificate mo at pahinging 630 pesos.

Syempre sa ganung tono at lakas ng boses na nakakabwisit, hindi na ko umimik. Ibinigay ko na yung form at payment. After the transaction with Lolang masungit, dali dali kaming pumasok ni Inay sa simbahan. Tamang tama lang naman pala yung dating namin kasi pasimula pa lang yung sakristan sa briefing/seminar. Yung mga kukumpilan nasa left side lahat, mga ninong/ninang nasa right side. From what I observed, lahat yata kami of the same age at nagpapakumpil dahil magpapakasal na. TSK TSK. Ü

So binigyan kami ng lessons nung sakristan about the 7 sacraments, 7 gifts etc etc. In the middle of the seminar, may umalingawngaw sa simbahan. Si Lolang masungit pumasok sa simbahan.

lola: Nasaan si Ruth Ann?

Ampucha. Hinahanap ako? Kinabahan ako. Nagtaas ako ng kamay at tinawag nya ko.

Dinala ko si Lola sa isang corner para hindi marinig nung ibang tao.

lola: Eh hindi ko napansin na nanay mo pala yung nilagay mong ninang dito! Hindi pupwedeng maging ninang o ninong ang isang magulang!

By that time, Inay's beside me na. Nakita nya may commotion eh. Hehehe.

me: Eh panu po yun? Pwede ho bang palitan na lang? Baka may pwede po akong gawing ninang sa kanila (referring to the on-lookers)

Tinawag ni Lola ang Sakristan na nagbibigay ng seminar.

lola: JOJO! Halika nga dito! Pano ito, gawan mo nga ng paraan yan! Pauuwiin ko na 'to eh. Ang nilagay na ninang pangalan ng nanay nya.

jojo: Ehdi hanap na lang tayo ng volunteer na magninang para matapos na. Sayang naman kung pauuwiin pa.

me: Oo nga po. Galing pa po kaming Laguna.

lola: O eh humanap ka na ng volunteer nang mapalitan na 'tong nasa form.

Buti na lang yung mga nakikiusyoso sa amin, mababait. May isa dung babae na nagvolunteer. "Ako na lang po". Thank God!!!! Ü

Nag-thank you ako sa kanya and I found out her name is Arlene Tamina. She was there to accompany her daughter, who's fiance is also receiving the sacrament of Confirmation. So nagka-instant ninang ako!

After that, tinapos na din ng sakristan yung seminar and nagstart na ang sakramento ng kumpil. Ang dami din aberyang naganap sa ibang nagpakumpil. Mukhang normal yata yun! I found out right after na yung iba palang nagpakumpil dun, yung mga manong or photographer ang kinuhang ninong o ninang. So hindi pala ko nag-iisa.

Atleast natapos na at ganap na kong CONFIRMED. Ü

He's my favorite simply because I loooooooooove most of the songs he composed. Mushy na kung mushy, senti na kung senti yung mga songs nya...I just love it. =D

When asked kung sinong celebrity or famous personality ang iinterviewhin ko given the chance, it's gonna be him! I would want to know where he gets his inspiration. Sabihin ko sa kanya how much I love his "The Best of Me" song. I will ask for his picture and autograph. I will ask him to write a song for me! =D I will request and beg and plead that he consider me as one of his friends para kasali na ko sa "David Foster and Friends"....!!!! Kaya nga when I found out early this year na magcoconcert sya dito, naku! Hindi ko talaga pinalagpas. Ang tagal ko kayang hinintay nung pag-visit nya dito. Shucks. When I found out today's bloggie challenge, I can't help but think... "Huwhat???? Wedding? Not again...!" Ü Panu ba naman, for the past 12 months, itong wedding ko na ang nasa isip ko! Pati pala 'tong bloggie challenge hindi ako pagpapahingahin sa kakaisip about weddings. Hehehe. Very timely since my wedding is fast approaching! And as the day nears, I'm getting more and more excited. Ü To be honest, I think I'm close to having my dream wedding!

So how would I describe my dream wedding?

1) I want it to be a destination wedding - Tagaytay. Romantic! And parang ang saya lang na paplanuhin talaga ng mga guests yung pagpunta sa wedding ko.

2) Ceremony will be at Chapel on the Hill - I fell in love with this chapel! Nung nakavisit ako sa chapel na 'to before, sinabi ko sa sarili ko, dito lang ako dapat ikasal! Ü

3) Reception will be somewhere romantic ang ambiance. Full of flowers and mood lights!

4) Overflowing food and wine

5) String quartet to serenade us

6) Fireworks, bubble machine, butterflies

7) Only closest friends and relatives as our guests

8) Not the traditional wedding na may program and games. I would want my wedding to be really intimate wherein makakachika ko bawat guest na ininvite namin. Sort of a get together of friends. So during reception, it's basically dinner and light dancing. Ü

30 Day Blog Challenge

I'll be blogging again! All because of YA's 30 Day Blog Challenge. I find it really cute kasi may theme of the day na, I wouldn't have to think of what to write pa! I'm not really a blogger naman, pero dahil dito sa challenge, sisipagin ako. I just hope ma-complete ko ang 30 days. hehehe.

Spent the day in Divisoria with Artiemous to buy tela for our entourage. We were there around 10:30am and ang dami ng tao, to think na 1st weekend of November pa lang! But since alam ko na ang kalakaran sa Divisoria, prepared naman ako sa kaguluhan, kainitan, kasikipan at kaputikang naganap. There was just one time na dahil mataas ang araw, I took out my shades. Mainit eh tska maarte ako. Pinahubad ni Artiemous dahil takaw tingin daw! Nung una nainis ako, eh sa gusto kong magshades kaya! The brat in me. Hihihi. Pero narealize ko, oo nga nuh. Baka akalain mayaman ako, mapahamak pa ko. So tanggalin ang shades. Ü

This day was so tiring but we accomplished two things! We were able to buy all the fabrics in just one supplier, all salmon pink and chocolate brown complete! I was thinking kasi hahalughugin pa namin ang buong Ilaya street to have all the fabrics we need. Hulog ng langit si Ateng Tindera to provide us with what we need. Next, nakahanap na kami ng magpiprint ng wedding invites namin...sa Recto! At first I was hesitant to have our invites printed here kasi ayaw ko nung area. Na-stereotype ko na. Hehehe. But it's all okay pala. Really affordable and the design we chose will really have the "Artie and Ann" touch. We can have it personalized! Luvett!!!

I was all amoy araw and pawis when I got home. I think I had the best shower ever. Ü

sonya's garden

after much thought, artie and i have decided to hold our wedding reception at sonya's garden - our first and top choice! Ü i know we made the right decision kasi now pa lang nafifeel na namin kung gano ka-personalized ng services and ka-asikaso ng "friends of sonya" sa amin. Ü
thanks to gerlie who pencil booked January16 for us the second time i inquired last December. they don't do pencil booking talaga sabi nya, pero nafeel daw nya na sincere kami sa request namin kaya naka-block na 16January sa kanila. hehe. sabi nya we just have to visit soon and formalize the reservation by paying 20% down and para makapag-food tasting na din daw kami. since yesterday lang kami nagkaroon ng time ni artie, off we went to sonya's! Ü usapan nga namin ni gerlie, we'll arrive around 2-3pm pa. eh napaaga kami ni tieboy. buti na lang si gerlie ang nasa information desk! she greeted us warmly and led us into the office for the wedding arrangements. she presented us with the different set menus and pumili na kami ni tibs. ako alam ko na kung anu yung gusto ko among the Filipino set menus, si tibs, dun lang ulit napag-aralan. buti na lang, kung anu yung nagustuhan kong menu, yun din yung gustu nya. Ü may pina-swap lang kaming 2 food na mas masarap from another set menu. Ü 100 guests muna yung pina-quote namin and we really do hope we would stick with that number. hehe.
after we made the payment, kainan na sa The Conservatory - one of the venues na good for 80 to 100 persons lang. maganda yung place because of the herb greenhouse inside. at syempre Sunday, daming kumakain when we went inside. but since we were expected guests (naks) may table na kaagad kami! hehe. we were served bread, their famous salad, pasta, banana rolls, sweet potatoes, chocolate cake and dalandan juice. eat all you can! Ü

matapos mahimasmasan, ikot ikot na kami sa garden to check out the venues. though tibs and i already informed gerlie that we will hold the reception at the Sunflower venue, tiningnan pa din namin yung Morning Glory. lahat maganda pero tama lang sa number of guests namin yung Sunflower. sa MG kasi, it can house upto 350 guests. masyado namang malaki! sa Conservatory naman, parang ang sikip. i love the Sunflower best! enough space and masusunud talaga yung gusto namin na intimate ambiance. Ü

nga pala, nung kumakain kami ni artie sa sonya's, one woman approached us. chika chika. kumusta daw kami, are we enjoying so far etc etc. then she asked if we are holding our wedding reception there. that's good to hear daw so on and so forth. konting chika pa tapos she went to another table and did the same. si Sonya pala yun. sinu namang babae ang maglalakas loob na magtable to table dun para kumustahin ang guests diba? and naconfirm ko din na sya yun kasi mga picture nya yung naka-frame sa labas ng ladies' CR. sayang! gusto ko magpapicture sa kanya! next visit talaga namin, hopefully nandun sya ulit, papapicture ako sa kanya. Ü

oh yes. i was part of the HSBC christmas party dance presentation with the theme FLASHBACK. every year, i look forward to attending this event kasi super fun and super big deal yung mga presentation. different departments competing against each other. no prize though, just pride and recognition if you are the winner. and again, for this year, we won first place!!! 2 straight years na! Ü all of us from the red team (personal financial services) were totally exhilirated. hehe. all the hard work paid off! thanks to our super galing choreographer, allan, for the patience to the highest level in teaching us the steps! seriously, hindi madali yung ginawa namin. it took us almost a month to master and perfect the whole performance. i was one of the damas - fan girl. so nagsingkil singkil kami to the tune of GOLD together with malong and scarf girls. at ang hawak naming fan ay malaki. not the usual size. kaya ang dami kong cuts and scratches ngayon sa arms dahil dito. hehe. the concept was really unique. folk dance steps and music from the different eras. sayang wala pa yung video friends. i would love to post it here! we're going for three in a row by next year! cross fingers. not sure though if i will again join next year...practice is so time-consuming but i loved the experience naman. i met new friends. and i would want to believe that i lost a few pounds. Ü

wala na si coochie...
it's so sudden and we really don't know the cause. she's been sick for almost a week. wala na syang gana kumain ng solid foods. puro water intake na lang sya. hanggang sa pati yung water vino-vomit na nya. tapos parang tamad na tamad syang kumilos... nangyari na sa kanya 'to before kaya we were thinking, just like before, she'll recover. she'll again be the sweet and noisy dog that she is....

last night, nagresearch pa ko about home treatment for dog sickness.
before i left for work this morning, nagpabili pa ko kay dad ng pedialyte for coochie para ma-rehydrate sya since hindi na nga sya nakakakain ng maayos. sabi kasi ni avee yun daw yung pinainom nya kay sacci dati.
when i got home around 10pm, i was expecting that coochie will be a bit better. but she looked weaker...i haven't seen her that sick.... =(
that's the time i decided to look for a veterinary clinic near our area para mapacheck-up na namin sya first thing tomorrow morning.
kahit sobrang antok na ko, hindi pa din ako umakyat ng room. hindi kasi talaga ako mapalagay. nandun yung feeling na ayaw kong iwanan si coochie, na parang gusto ko lang sya bantayan the whole night until mapacheck-up ko na sya the next day....while online, sinisilip silip ko siya ng madalas to see kung okay pa ba sya, kung gusto ba nya uminom etc etc.
to be honest, nung umakyat na si dad mom and bunsoy para matulog and kaming 2 na lang ni coochie yung natira dito sa baba, napaiyak na ko. i was so worried that i tried looking for 24/7 vet clinics! desperate mode na ko by then. i was thinking kahit malayo yung clinic, go pa din.

i saw coochie lying on her side, eyes half closed...hirap na syang huminga and parang nachochoke sya....that's the time that i called on dad mom and bunsoy. super humagulgol na ko. LITERAL. ='( lalu pa kong naiyak kasi parang hinintay lang ni coochie makababa sila dad and puntahan sya before she said goodbye...

grabe...as i am writing this blog, iyak pa din ako ng iyak.

for 8years, sya yung naging "baby" ng family... =(

mamimiss ko yung pagbati nya sa'kin whenever i get home.

it's been a while since i last wrote here. so many things have happened and a lot more things will be happening. could be work related. could be in my personal life.

work wise. i've never been so loaded! now ko lang na-experience na hindi ko natatapos lahat ng TO DOs ko for the day. remaining TO DOs ko on a Monday will still carry over the following day, worst, til end of the week! and i really hate it when i have pending work. i just don't feel that productive lately. kulang ang oras sa office. i hope this passes. and i know naman the reason why, after a long long time, now lang ako nakaramdam ng ganito. i am, technically handling three teams!! i act as primary reliever for my co-manager who is on his core leave, the other one naman, more on "petix" daw as described by one of my staff....and and and - we managers are also doing special callout projects. that is on top of our daily tasks and team management. yung tipong test callouts muna kaming managers, if we think the callout's gonna be successful, tska namin ipapa-callout sa mga agents.
HAAAYYY...it's not that i am complaining. it's just that it is not me to feel this stressed towards work. sabi nga ng boss ko, that's one of my positive points - grace under pressure! Ü i still am thankful na nagiging ganito ako kabusy, kesa idle ako diba? mantra ko na lang? the more busy i am, the more secure i am with my work. Ü

aileen is back from the US! dumating sya 16june pa and she'll be here til early august. we texted and talked na. and we will be having coffee soon. i'm so looking forward! of course, donna's gonna be there. a lot of catching up to do. really can't wait on our out of town soon! we haven't decided yet kung saan. wherever it is, i am sure it's gonna be a blast! just like our previous getaways and escapades. hehe.

and finally. one major change. artie and i decided to move our wedding to an earlier date. from january2011 to march2010! super thank you to eric and ate that they agreed na 2010 na kami magchurch wedding. originally kasi, 2010 talaga kami ni artie. but since ate's staying in Singapore na, nagplan sila ng 2010 wedding din. artie and i decided to have ours on 2011 na lang to give way to ate and eric. but since artie's dad has failing health condition already, we decided to move it to next year na. we wouldn't know what will happen but we would want artie's dad to still be around during our wedding. special request ng dad ni artie na makita nya wedding namin. and makita pa nya magiging apo nya sa amin. pero pero pero, ibang usapan na yun! Ü i'm just happy that so far all is well.

super happy because artie gets to spend christmas with me. and yun lang naman ang christmas wish ko...for us to spend christmas together. hopefully, come new year, nandito pa din sya sa pinas. Ü

super happy din kasi nagustuhan nya yung gift ko. whew!! at syempre hindi ko sasabihin kung anung gift ko sa kanya. hehe. basta basta.

very much thankful for friends who sent their greetings and gifts. for making me feel special, remembered and loved. Ü

i feel blessed to have the most wonderful and most loving family in the whole wide world!!! Ü
i couldn't ask for anything more...

super happy for the long vacation ahead! sa january5 na ulit ang pasok ko! yey!!

ann: ah ok...sige sige. ngayon na? san kita imimeet?

lea: sa may shangrila mall na lang po, starbucks po.

ann: naku, di ako masyadong familiar dun. pero ok lang, mag-cab na lang ako siguro. is this your number? save ko na ha para text na lang kita kung what time ako makadating dun.

syempre by this time, taranta at kabado na ko.
anu ba talaga ang package na yun...then another call from his niece.

lea: tita ann, sorry po ulit sa istorbo. pinapatanung po kasi ng lola ko kung anung oras po talaga kayo makakadating sa shangrila? hindi po kasi ako pwedeng magpagabi eh.

ann: mga 230 or 3pm lea, magprepare na din ako.

and i made sure na maganda at presentable ako, kung sinuman ang maabutan ko dun sa starbucks, walang maipipintas. Ü
when i was near Shang na, i even received a call from Artie.

ann: not yet, i'm about to meet lea. hindi daw pwede ate itess today eh. artie: ah ok....kala ko nakuha mo na. what time kayo magmeet ni lea?
ann: now na, sa Shangrila mall daw eh. lapit na ko dun.

ann: yup near na.

when i arrived at starbucks, wala pa si lea. i texted her on her whereabouts, but got no reply. i tried calling her as well, di sinasagot. after i think, 20minutes...ayun. nakita ko na si artie sa tabi ko. blushing, with a goofy and cute smile on his face!! Ü sya pala ang package ko. ahsusussss... hindi na ko nakapagsalita. nagblush. natense. i just gave him a super big hug and a super sweet kiss! ♥

we had dinner with his family at claw daddy. kakatuwa kasi buong family nya kakunchaba sa planned surprise nya.

how many more days til Artie is back?

if only i can get a serious and straight answer from him...
but for more than a month now, hindi pa din nya ko sinasagot ng maayos.
i know he wants to surprise me - and wala naman problema sa'kin yun.
i just don't like the idea that i'll keep on guessing.
i just super miss him and sobrang gusto ko na syang makasama.

from what i know, sa clue na binigay nya before, it's either 07 or 08nov ang dating nya dito sa Manila. when we talked the other day, 24th or end of the month na daw.

2 weeks lang daw ang stay nya dito then he has to go back to Bulgaria.. = (

pero tuloy pa din ang Boracay or Bohol namin pag-uwi nya.
at ako ang in charge sa pagbook ng flight and accommodation and itinerary na parang ang hirap gawin kasi hindi ko alam kung kelan talaga ang dating nya.

i'm having mixed emotions lately....excited and super happy that he's coming home...
sad that he has to leave again for Bulgaria.

bakit naman kasi magaling pa syang Trainor, ehdi sana di na sya kelangan ipadala sa ibang sites. talk about selfish. ÜÜÜ

haaayyy....

i've been waiting for this day! ang araw na ma-installan na ng bagong soundcard itong PC para mapakinggan ko na ang mga kanta ko!!!! Ü super namiss ko yung mga playlist ko...
while i was at the office, ate texted me that the soundcard is ok na. uwing-uwi na ko nun, iwanan na ang mga pending. kaya nga tinawag na pending diba, para i-pend? Ü but the usual, i still got off around 7pm. di pa din kinaya to leave earlier.

and right now, i'm listening to my songs na. Ü really excited kanina - natataranta ako kung anung song una kong pakikinggan. OA na kung OA. pero ewan ko bah. iba lang yung feeling ko now. parang kinikilig ako. Ü

i can go on like this forever...just listening to my songs.

braces no more!

finally!!! wala na akong braces!! Ü
talaga namang kinareer ko na ito. nagleave pa ko para lang sa appointment namin ni Dra.

while i was at the clinic, i was kinda nervous because i didn't know what to expect. ang nagsi-stick kasi sa mind ko yung kwento ni ate na when she had her braces taken off, feeling nya matatanggal ngipin nya each time tinatanggalan sya ng bracket. surprisingly, super painless lang pala in my case. parang nag-gugupit lang ng kuko si Dra. hehe. wala pa yatang 15 minutes natanggal na nya lahat. and then the works. pasta, prophylaxis, sinukatan ng retainers. i chose the plastic retainers, not the typical wire something. same price lang naman kasi, so dun na ko sa kakaiba. Ü
binigyan din ako ni Dra ng tooth mousse. akalain mo na may ganun pah?!

so magkano ang nagastos ko sa session na ito? p11500 lang naman. sheesh.
